The NANA Hotel is a Bangkok institution for over 50 years now, opening its doors in 1963 it is an icon of the naughty nightlife and the Mecca for punters from all over the world over. Of course the main attraction here is having Thailand’s main red-light district, the Nana Entertainment Plaza just across the street. his ex 3-story shopping mall is home to over 30 gogo bars employing a total of about 700 available ladies. There are also numerous bars along the street all within walking distance that provide sufficient choice to satisfy the taste of even the most discerning of gentlemen. Now overshadowed by the Mighty Marriott Hotel towering just behind it, no one can argue Nana Hotel has definitely seen better days but location and value is pretty hard to beat at 1500 Baht. You get big comfy Bed, over 20 English speaking channels on the TV, free WiFi, shower has amazing pressure, big fridge with free bottled water, safe that you can fit a laptop in. Nana Hotel also has an excellent swimming pool area that has numerous sunbeds, an outside Jacuzzi and great buffet breakfast with good choice of thai and western foods drinks included in the room rate. Check out time is […]
4 Soi Nana Tai, Sukhumvit Road, Sukhumvit, Bangkok, Thailand 10110
The Page 10 is located right at the center of Soi 10, a reasonably quiet Soi with a beer bar complex at the top. At 44 sq.m the Studio rooms offer more space than your average Pattaya hotel and have a great big bed and and bathroom.

The Palm Coco Mantra is a beautiful new boutique hotel with just 20 rooms and 6 bungalows nestled on a fabulous beachfront location on the outskirts of Lamai. Vibe is relaxed and friendly, The grounds are meticulously landscaped. Facilities include a lovely infinity pool, plenty of comfy sun beds/big bean bags adjacent to a beach bar and restaurant area. The staff are exceptional, you really feel that personal touch from the moment you set foot until the moment you leave. The beach was fine, although water levels in this part of the bay are very shallow, making it not suitable for swimming. Great resort to chill out, lay on beach, dive in pool sometimes and enjoy the view. Got a Superior Sea View on the third floor, rooms is bright and colourful, bed large and extremely comfortable, also spacious enough at 30 m² in size, all the essential facilities provided: Mini-bar, TV with HBO, excellent WiFi signal, small safe and padlock, coffee/tea making facilities plus a quiet and efficient a/c unit. Bathroom was a bit of a letdown, just a wet room but everything functional. The balcony has very comfy chairs with cushions, the sea view is really stunning to […]
143/11 Moo 4, Lamai beach, Maret, Ko Samui 84310, Thailand
The Parinda Hotel is hidden down a little alleyway adjacent to Soi 4, so quiet yet only a 5-10 minutes walk from the bars and red light district of Nana plaza. They also offer a free tuk-tuk shuttle to the main road if you don’t feel like walking but I’ve always just picked a little exercise instead. The hotel is was brand new, extremely clean, facilites include a small pool (but very few sunbeds) and a big gym with lots of free weights and exercise machines if that’s your thing. I booked their cheapest rooms: “the Deluxe” which at 35 sq.m were large and with a minimalist yet modern decor, very confy bed, the bathroom has both separate bath and shower. The service was excellent, no complaints here, any request was taking care of with no trouble. Overall a great choice in the Nana area, will repeat! Have a look above for the pictures I have personally took during my stay of the room and hotel amenities.
54 Sukhumvit Soi 4, Klongtoey, Sukhumvit, Bangkok, Thailand
Older 4-Star Hotel currently closed for complete renovations right on Patong beach with pool and bar facing the beach, big rooms and hard to beat location having both the sand on your feet at one end within a 100m walk to Bangla Road.

The Pattaya Blue Sky is a brand new hotel that offers Excellent value on Soi 5, just 5 mins walk from Soi 6 and Pattaya beach. Rooms are spacious and come with a balcony. Housekeepign does an excellent job keeping everything spotless.

The Penthouse hotel is definitely not your typical or traditional hotel by any standards, the adult decor throughout is erotic and sexually explicit. Setting foot in the lobby area is a bit like entering an upscale brothel, there are many exotic and strange areas within the hotel, attached to it are two go-go bars which provides all sort of fun, one for girls and another for ladyboys in all safety, amenities include two swimming pools: One outdoor pool with a relaxing terrace and another in the basement which is great for night time partying. I stayed in one of their Party Patpong category and just to state a few of the “room extras” were full-length wall and ceiling mirrors around the bed, dancing podiums with lights & stripper poles, jacuzzi tub an adult “exercise” swing, 50-inch screen LCD-TV with adult movies, mood lighting, etc. Perfect for nighttime debauchery. Location is on Soi Pattayaland 2, just 50 meters from the beach and only three blocks from Walking Street. Have a look above for the pictures I have personally took during my stay of the room and hotel amenities.
Soi Pattayaland 2, Pattaya Beach Road, Pattaya, Chonburi, Thailand
Petals Inn has been freshly remodeled two years, so the rooms are very modern and inviting, it’s a great little hotel located right in the middle of Soi 4, less than 5 minutes walk to Bangkok’s biggest red-light district Nana Entertainment Plaza so there’s lots of excitement in the area. Simply put, if it’s nightlife, girls and bars you’re after, this is the area to stay in
20/7-8 Sukhumvit 4, Sukhumvit Road,, Khlong Toei, 10110 Bangkok, Thailand
The location of the Phachara Suites Sukhumvit is ideal for those who wish to be as close as possible from the Red-Light district without being bothered by it’s noise and craziness. Tucked in a quiet side street, walking 60 meters is all you need to get onto bustling Soi 4 and it’s many, many bars while Nana Entertainment Plaza (NEP) is well under 5 minutes walk away. This a good 4-Star hotel offering all the amenities one could need during your stay, service is also excellent throughout, from the doorman to the security guards, reception and housekeeping.
22 Sukhumvit 6 กรุงเทพมหานคร 10110, Thailand
Budget 3-Star hotel just 5 mins from Bangla Rd with a rooftop pool access at another hotel. Rooms are basic but clean, prices usually very decent as well.
179/83-84 Soi sansabai, Rat-U-Thit 200 pee Rd, Kathu, 83150 Patong, Thailand
The R Mar Resort and Spa is a quiet little gem with huge outdoor pools surrounded by a lot of greeneries in a very busy area of Patong. Rooms are lovely and of classic design with rustic furniture but equipped with all required modern day amenities needed including a big comfy beds, large LCD/plasma screens, Mini bar offering some complimentary free drinks for guests (the usual free water but also beer and soft drinks that are replenished daily), free wifi and a nice big balcony to chill on.
33 Soi Rat-U-Thid 200 Pee 1, Rat-U-Thid 200 Pee Road, Kathu, 83150 Patong, Thailand
While the rates booking online are usually great, the Royal Ivory it is an old and tired hotel where one could almost get the feel it was built 30 years ago and never updated since so at this point a complete makeover would be needed.
73 Sukhumvit Soi 4, Sukhumvit Road, Klong Toey, Khlong Toei, 10110 Bangkok, Thailand
The Royal Phawadee Village is a little a little oasis of peace just minutes away from the from the hustle and bustle of Patong. Location is great, just 3 mins walk to the beach and 10 mins to Bangla Road. This older resort was built in traditional Thai style architecture and is set amid lush tropical gardens, pool is well maintained, clean and refreshing. My deluxe room was on the second floor with a veranda overlooking the pool. Living space is around 30 sq.m, everything is clean and fully functional, king size bed is comfortable and comes with very clean linen, flat screen TV, well stocked mini-bar and a balcony to sit on and enjoy a drink, toilet separate from the shower room. Staff are laid back and very friendly, will definitely return. Have a look above for the pictures I have personally took during my stay of the room and hotel amenities.
3 Sawatdirak Road, Patong Beach, Phuket 83150, Thailand
The S Sukhumvit Suites is a clean, modern and intimate hotel ideally located just 2 minute walk away around the corner from Soi Cowboy. The S Sukhumvit Suites has recently completed its renovation and I must say the results are excellent. Having tried a few hotels around this area over the years, for the price, service, location and overall quality, it simply doesn’t get any much better than this. The only downside is there are no swimming pool/gym/spa facilities.
403-403/1, 407-407/1 Sukhumvit Road, Klongtoeynuea, Wattana, Wattana, 10110 Bangkok, Thailand
Location wise, the Safari Beach Hotel is unbeatable, all you need to do is turn left, walk 60 meters and you’re at Patong Beach & Bangla Road. The grounds are green and lush, secluded and always seems quiet, swimming pool area is real nice too, guest get a 10% discount at their Savoey Seafood Restaurant, staff all-around are super friendly. I booked a Safari Deluxe with garden view on the second floor, room was spacious and super clean, bed was fine with good of pillows and cushions, linen was of good standard, LCD TV & DVD player, air conditioner worked well and since the rooms have a traditional metal key you can leave it on 24/7, bathroom had a large walk-in shower with good water pressure and no shortage of hot water great, Small patio overlooking the gardens, a little noise at night but it’s still very muted no trouble sleeping during my stay. Definitely not 5-star luxury, but still a great value, has everything you need besides perhaps a gym for the fitness freaks but for the price and location it’s superb. Have a look above for the pictures I have personally took during my stay of the Deluxe […]

The Samui Sense Beach Resort is a perfect options for those looking for a holiday with the beach on your doorstep and almost immediate access (under 5 minutes walk) to the best nightlife and beer bars of Lamai. Located on a beautiful stretch of sand with no shortage of sun loungers and bean bags around, good beach bar, well priced drinks and friendly staff. Gardens are lush and green, atmosphere is very relaxing by the pool. The Samui Sense is a rather small resort with 44 rooms, facilites are not new but generally well maintained, they offer a selection of the cheaper superior rooms in the main building, while the more expensive suites and bungalows are around the pool area. I booked the most basic room, the superior category, found them to be exactly as described online, well appointed, good bed ( they can provide you with an extra top bed if you find yours too hard), strong AC unit, TV with limited selection of channels, lots of hot water in the shower, safety box and small mini-bar. Keep in mind that at 22 m², this category is not for those who plan to spend a whole lot of time […]
124/61 Moo 3, Maret Beach, Lamai, Samui, Thailand 84310
Rooms at the Sea Me Spring Hotel are spacious, clean and equipped with modern furniture. Everything looked brand new with the Beach conveniently located just 1 min walk away. Amenities include a great rooftop pool overlooking Pattaya bay.
343/21 Moo 10, Pattaya Soi 10, Pattaya 2nd Road,, 20150 Pattaya Central, Thailand
The Season Five is a new hotel so the construction is very modern, rooms are spacious with a small sit out balcony, located near Beach Road and Soi 6 with it’s many beer bars.Highly recommended!
35/3 Moo 9 Pattaya Soi 5 Nongprue, Banglamung, Chonburi, 20150, North Pattaya , Thailand
The Seven Zea is a small cozy boutique hotel that opened for business in 2012, as it’s just a few years old everything is still in excellent condition. The highlight of the property is their rooftop pool on the 8th floor, complete with infinity edge, sun tanning terrace and bar. Really a great place to soak up the sun and enjoy great views over Pattaya Bay. The rooms, which start at 32 sq.m. are very clean featuring a minimalist modern design with a nice floor-to-ceiling windows. Amenities include minibar is provided along side with 32″ Flatscreen TV, desk and wardrobe. Joiners are very welcomed here and actually the rate to have a second girl overnight is quite acceptable at 300 THB.
225 / 62 M.9 Pattaya Beach Rd. Soi 5, Nongprue, Banglamung, Pattaya, Chonburi, 20150, Thailand
The Siam Bayshore Resort and Spa is is a hidden gem and by far the best option out of all hotels along Walking Street, if you’ve been in Pattaya before you’ve probably walked passed by this resort not knowing just how big the place or of the phenomenal amenities it offers. Definitely more the sort of experience you’d expect to find on a tropical island far far away from the loud nightlife of Pattaya. The Siam Bayshore has two pools, a smaller one just across from walking street with private beach and another at the back of the resort surrounded by lavish tropical garden settings, this being in my opinion the highlight of the resort. The pool is quite large and organized into shallow and deep zones with loads of sun loungers and a bar offering some great downtime Arriving a bit early I was “upgraded” to a Executive Deluxe room which have a older look and feel to them. So word of advice, stick to the slightly cheaper Tropical Deluxe rooms which have been refurbished and are located at the pool side, unless you need to be in the main building with direct access to walking street. What you see […]
559 Beach Road, Pattaya City, Cholburi, 20150 South Pattaya , Thailand
The SM Grande offers large serviced apartments right at the heart of the Red-Light district on Soi 4, only 5 minutes walk from Nana Plaza. Despite the nightlife being so close by, the rooms remain very quiet, you don’t hear a thing with the windows closed so no problems getting a good nights sleep.
33 Sukhumvit Soi 4, Sukhumvit Road, Klongtoey, Khlong Toei, 10110 Bangkok, Thailand
The Bliss South Beach Patong is located at the southern end of the beach, in a relatively quiet area of Patong within easy walking distance (15 mins) from the hustle and bustle of Bangla road. Besides enjoying a swim at the beachfront right across the street, guests can also cool off at any of the two pools of the property. While both are pleasant well maintained, the smaller one, found at the front is more appropriate for dipping than laps which can be done at the larger and more private one in at the back. The 32 m² Deluxe rooms are cosy and well-designed, highlight of staying here for me was definitely the beautiful sea view from the balcony, great place to just sit back and chill with a beer in hand, watching the sunset or listen the waves at night. The hotel is comprised of two separate buildings, the south wing for the suite accommodations and the north wing (where I stayed) where you will find the superior and deluxe room categories. Staff are extremely polite and helpful, security has a very friendly attitude dealing with overnight bargirls. Overall a great option! Awarded again the Trip Advisor’s certificate of […]
40 Thaveewong Road, Patong beach, Kathu, Patong, Phuket, Thailand 83150
Location is good as it’s tucked away in a quiet alley off Soi Sansabai, just 5 mins walking distance from Bangla Rd. Rooms are a bit small in size but clean and comfortable with all the basic amenities are included: Led-TV, mini-bar, Air-con, powerful shower was powerful, fridge ,safe and a small balcony. Worth it’s money.
179/103 Sansabai Soi, Phangmuang Saikor Rd, 83150 Patong, Thailand
I really loved my stay at the newly opened Continent Bangkok, location is spot on with Soi Cowboy just around the corner only 200 m away, one of the advantages you get from booking at this smaller boutique hotel is the attention you get from the staff as it’s not as packed as most other 5-Stars hotels in the area. The warm and the sincere hospitality definitely makes a difference. One of the great benefits of staying here is their Sky Privilege Package which they will offer you on arrival for an extra 700 THB, with that you get an All You Can Eat And Drink between 5pm and 8pm at their H20 pool bar or sky bar which includes: Beers, wines, cocktails, beers and wine and a wide selection of food that covers everything from mini-burgers, pasta, chicken tenders, sandwiches, fruits & various desserts. Their Sky rooftop bar offer some impressive views over Bangkok, I made it a habit during to start my evenings and after 3 hours of free drinks I was all set to hit Bangkok’s nightlife. Regarding the rooms, the designers have done a great job with the decor, both peaceful and vibrant at the same time. I booked their cheapest room and […]
413 Sukhumvit Road, Sukhumvit, Bangkok, Thailand
The Landmark Bangkok was the most luxurious and highest skyscraper of the Sukhumvit area when it opened a few decades ago, while this premium old-school hotel had lost a bit of her polish over the years management has since done a complete renovation of the rooms, offering some of her grand old charm back. Location is second to none, right next door to Nana plaza you will find a very welcoming oasis in the midst of the hot, crowded and seedy streets of Bangkok. Amenities are plentiful and include a nice pub with live venues, restaurants, bars, a rooftop pool, gym, spa, sauna. The new rooms are fabulous, beds extremely comfortable and the quality of the decor with all the latest furnishings truly in the 5-Star category. Staff are very friendly and extremely competent. All in all, a very happy experience and would recommend. Have a look above for the pictures I have personally took during my stay of the Premiere room and hotel amenities.
138 Sukhumvit Road, Sukhumvit, Bangkok, Thailand
Location of the Lantern Resorts is super convenient, only a short 5 minutes walk to Bangla Road and 5 more to Patong beach. This is currently my favorite resort on Soi Sansabai, facilities are new and modern and there’s three pools to chose from, two are at ground level next to each other and one on the roof. I booked the Pool Pent room, which are big and spacious with direct access to the pool from your terrace door, there is a table and chair outside and its very nice sitting there with a drink and a following dip. Rooms are clean, bright and comfortable and the housekeeping maintained it regularly, bathroom has a separate walk-in shower and tub. Could not be any happier from my stay at The Lantern Resort Patong, clean facility, perfect location and great staff, recommended! Have a look above for the pictures I have personally took during my stay of the room and hotel amenities.
181/4 Soi Sansabai, Rat-U-Thit 200 Pee Road, Patong, Phuket, Thailand
The Yorkshire is a newly refurbed British owned 3-Star located just a minute walk from Phuket’s nightlife center, the infamous Bangla road. While the hotel doesn’t claim to be 5-stars or in the luxury category, it does stand out from other 3-Stars in the area due to the amount of facilities they offer for a hotel of this size and price. The Yorkshire has two saunas, an excellent gym and a pool where staff members always look after you, making sure we always had a drink and were happy. Food served is great and prices moderate.
169/16 Soi Sansabai , Rat-U-Thit 200 Road, Patong, 83150 Patong Beach, Thailand
Tiger Inn hotel is a budget hotel is found right above a jungle themed restaurant and bar of the same name. Location is quite central with Patong Beach & Bangla road only a short 10 minute walk away. Rooms are old fashion but clean and spacious, decorated with sweet tiger-striped bedding and furniture. Definitely nothing special but all the basics are covered and everything works. The menu at their restaurant has a huge selection ranging from Thai cuisine to Western food with lots of fresh seafood dishes, good servings as well. A live band plays every night in the restaurant & bar, singing mostly classic rock covers from the 70s & 80s, so it can quickly fill up on occasions with an international crowd. Ideal place for travelers on a budget, if you don’t mind the tired rooms and lack of a swimming pool. Have a look above for the pictures I have personally took during my stay of the room and hotel amenities.
140 Rat-U-Thit 200 Pee Road, Kathu, Patong, Phuket, Thailand
Listen… I know that just by the name alone might be enough to make many skip right to the next booking option on my list but Tweet Tweet Nest Pattaya Hotel is actually not as bad of an option as it sounds. The property, which has been taken over and totally renovated less than two years ago offers modern and well thought out rooms that start at 50 sq. meters for a very reasonable price. All rooms in the hotel, Superior or Deluxe have pretty much the same design with wood flooring, a comfortable king sized bed at it’s center, not the usual hard mattress most Thai hotels seem to offer, adjustable mood lighting which are controlled through a main control panel next to the bed, large LCD flat-screen TV and great bathroom facilities. Located up a little alleyway in between Soi 7 & 8 so there’s no shortage of beer bars and night venues just at your doorsteps with beach road under a minute walk away, Walking street is around 15 minutes away. Have a look below for the pictures I have personally took during my stay of the Superior room and hotel amenities. What you see below are the actual pictures […]
522/10-11 Moo 10, Soi 8, Nongprue, Banglamung, 20260 Central Pattaya , Thailand
Owned by the same proprietor as the Bayview Hotel found just behind it, The Wave Hotel is a new low-rise luxury boutique hotel with only 18 rooms that has a brilliant seafront location on Pattaya Beach Road. The hotel has an Art Deco inspired design which reminds classic 50’s Miami Beach with it’s pale blue colors and vintage red car up on front. All the rooms overlook the sea and are fitted with balconies providing panoramic views over beach road. These are maintained impeccably, decor is quite stunning with an unique a mix of where modern meets retro furnishings, certainly not your usually, run-of-the-mill hotel room. The pool area is laid back and very relaxing, staff are incredibly friendly where complimentary drink refills and food is served without asking. Overall, Through it’s innovative theme and combination of art, design, and function throughout the Wave Hotel certainly rates itself several notches above any other of the boutique hotels found in the area. Have a look above for the pictures of the room and hotel amenities.
310/3 Beach Road, Muang Pattaya, Pattaya, Chang Wat Chon Buri 20150, Thailand
The @Home Boutique Hotel is a great option for travelers looking for affordable rooms not too far away from Patong’s nightlife. Location is quiet, walk to Bangla Road only takes 10 minutes. Definitely not the Ritz, but rooms are very reasonable and larger than I expected at 32 sqm for this price category. All the basics for a comfortable stay are provided: Cable TV, mini-bar, air-con, small electronic safe, bedding is decent, shower pressure in the bathroom was excellent, every room has a balcony. Now for the downsides: Noise isolation is poor, while there’s a lot of channels to chose from on the TV reception is a little fuzzy, Wi-Fi disconnected frequently, bathroom very basic in Thai style with no curtains so it floods the whole place quite easily, not the most silent of Air-cons. In the end still a good bang for your buck, should suit just fine those travelling on a budget. Have a look above for the pictures of the room and hotel amenities.
232/10-11 Phangmuang Sai Ko Road, Patong, Phuket, Thailand 83150
The Add Plus is a no frills hotel located a very short walk from the back of the Junglecyon Shopping mall, for those unaccustomed to Patong this means both the beach and nightlife of Bangla road can be reached within a breezy 10 to 15 mins walk. The property is spread across around 9 floors and has a little rooftop pool where you can cool off while enjoying the views over the mountains and city. Rooms are declined only in two categories, so you get tho choose between either smallish superior rooms at 25 sqm and much bigger 42 sqm Deluxe rooms. While both have recently been refurbed the pictures above reflect the cheaper superior category. Rooms are well furnished, modern TV set with around 50 channels, beds maybe a little hard but typical for Thailand, air-con ran perfectly, Wi-Fi signal quite decent as well. Rooms all have a balcony though the view of the next door hotel is less than desirable. Bathroom has walk in shower that tends to flood easily when you use it. Otherwise not much to complain about, everything kept clean tidy, new sheets and towels daily. Yes of course there plenty of nicer hotels in […]
82/26 Phungmuang Sai Kor Road, Patong, Phuket, Thailand 83150
The Adelphi Pattaya is a newly built hotel located a quiet little side street that links Soi Buakhao (220 m away) with Pattaya 3rd Road just 5 minutes walk from Soi LK Metro. Ideal place for those who enjoy the Central Pattaya nightlife but a little out of the way for those who want to base their activities around the beach (15 mins walk away) and Walking street (25 mins). Property is very well managed and kept immaculate throughout, rooms are modern and bright, beds are very comfortable, which if you’ve traveled Southeast-Asia Asia for any amount of time know this is far from always true, flat-screen-TV offers a good selection of channels, Wi-Fi is fast, great A/C unit, large fridge for your drinks, electronic safe of good size, nothing much to complain about the room amenities here. Only downside I could think of is the water temperature is not always consistent when in the shower, sometimes a little too cold or too hot. The swimming pool area on the 8th floor roof top is quite nice and gets sunlight all day long, daily happy hour 2 for 1 drinks are served from 5PM until 8PM at the pool bar. […]
390/14 Soi Chalermprakiat 21 Pattaya 3 Rd Moo 9 Nongprue Banglamung, Central Pattaya, Pattaya, Thailand
Al’s Laemson Resort is located on the top of a little hill in the Northern end of Chaweng beach. The atmosphere here is very relaxed, no big buildings, the only type of accommodation available are free-standing bungalows and villas that have been properly spread out on the hillside in a way you don’t overlook your neighbours, adding a feeling privacy. Bungalows, which start at 30 sqm are quite spacious and well equipped. I really enjoyed the simple little touches like having your own Nespresso machine to start the day with some real coffee. Amenities include a lovely pool area and bar overlooking the ocean. The beach, while not great for swimming due to it’s shallow waters is very secluded and feels private. A complimentary shuttle service is offered to their sister hotel, Als Resort, just 4 minutes walk away from the Green Mango entertainment area. Otherwise it’s approximately a 30 minutes walk or 10 min/ 50 baht songthaew ride. In the end, Al’s Laemson Resort best suited for those who are looking for a base away from the hustle and bustle of the main strip. Have a look below for the pictures of the room and hotel amenities.
154/14-15 Moo 2, Chaweng Beach, Bo Phut, Koh Samui 84320, Thailand
The Aloha resort is located at the quieter end of Lamai Beach, but within easy distance (10 to 15 minutes walk) from Beer Bar Central, the main bargirl enclave in Lamai. The swimming pool, immaculate grounds and beach are what sells here. Rooms, especially in the lower categories are a little dated and in need of renovation but are clean, spacious and provided with everything you need. WiFi on the other hand is poor throughout the resort either loosing connection or extremely slow, except for a tiny area in the reception area. There are ample sun loungers around the pool and beach, not too much towel reservation going on. No pool bar though, a little annoying to have to go in the small restaurant each time to ask for a beer. No fault to the staff, which are super sweet and are doing their best although some language difficulties. In the end: Quiet location but not far from the action, nice pool & beachfront area. Accommodations are simple, furniture older but not bad value for the money overall. Have a look below for the pictures of the room and hotel amenities.
128 Lamai Beach, Lamai, Maret, Ko Samui, Surat Thani, 84310, Thailand
The AM Samui Palace really got a lot going for it. 1st, the location offers the best of both world, within a 5 minutes walk you can either have your toes in the sand at the Lamai beachfront or doing some nighttime shenanigan in the company of bargirls at any one of the towns beer bar enclaves (Beer Bar Central or Lamai Central Plaza). 2nd comes the amenities, Once locked inside, the AM Samui Palace feels like a little oasis of peace with well manicured tropical gardens, two beautiful swimming pools, loads of sunbeds and a fantastic swim up bar to chill around during happy hour (2-6pm). 3rd the rooms: Spacious, modern, well furnished and with a big balcony, some even with direct pool access in the newer wing. WiFi throughout the resort works great. Awarded TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence. Would highly recommend this hotel! Have a look below for the pictures of the room and hotel amenities.

The Amari Nova Residences is a very neat guest friendly 4-star apartment hotel that offer a wide range of accommodations to suit everyone’s needs. Location is a little out of the way from Walking Street but not far from the Soi 6 area, a 10 min (max) walk away, getting to the beach or Soi LK metro takes a little longer, 15 to 20 mins but is still a viable walking option. They offer a Free Shuttle service to the beach Road and Walking Street but no return service is offered. The residences are modern, in a black and white theme and furnished to a high standard, you will find here everything you could ever need, including a full sized kitchen with plenty of space in the fridge to stock up on drinks, washer machine/dryer, lounge area with flat-screen TV, another TV set is found in the bedroom, fantastic air-conditioning (2 units). Hotel facilities include a nice roof-top pool area with big lounge chairs with sun umbrellas. Staff are great and very helpful, On a few occasions I had 2 girls back at the same time overnight and not once was I charged extra. In the end a great little […]
254 Moo 9, Soi Petchtrakool, Banglamung, Central Pattaya, Pattaya, Thailand
The Baan Suan Sook Resort is a small family ran business situated on a quiet hillside surrounding Chaweng Lake, Location is good, just far enough away from the strip not to be bothered by all the noise but only a 10 to 15 minutes slow walk from the main entertainment venues and the beach. Definitely a good option for budget travellers, as for under 1000 THB you’ll usually be able to get a hold on of their bungalow style accommodation with comes with a big private balcony/terrace area and all the expected amenities: Cable TV with a few English speaking channels, mini-bar, reliable Wi-Fi signal, en-suite bathroom and air-con system that kept the place cool without being noisy. Yeah sure, the rooms are a little basic but the maid does an excellent job keeping everything kept clean and tidy. The highlights of the resort is the infinity swimming pool at the very top of the hill, where you can dip in the water and admire the views across the island and the coast from the edge of the pool while hearing the monkeys playing in the background. Keep in mind it’s a quite a steep walk up to the pool, […]

Hotel Baraquda is conveniently located on 2nd Road, amidst the bustling nightlife and only a short walk from the beach, all the fun is basically just a few steps away. The area in which this new MGallery property shines involves their superior customer service and friendliness. From the moment you enter their ocean themed reception area and meet with the friendly staff, you realize you are in a truly in good hands. Greeted with a smiling face, a beautiful girl will take over the check-in procedure while another leads you to the comfortable lounge area, offering you a welcome drink as all the documentation is swiftly taken care of. The decor and facilities are excellent, one of the most noticeable things that will catch your eye is the cleanliness in which the property is kept, surroundings are immaculate. Rooms are quite large and beautifully designed, the bed is definitely not your usual rock-hard Thai mattress, linens very conducive to sleep. The only downside is that some wear and tear is starting to show on the furniture, especially in the lower tier rooms. Management is aware of the problem and has started the refurb process. Swimming pool area is exceptional, a […]
485/1 Moo 10 Pattaya 2nd road, Tambol Nongprue, Amphur Banglamung, Central Pattaya, Pattaya, Thailand
The Beach Republic is located on the northern part of Lamai Beach, about a 30 minutes leisurely stroll along the beach into central Lamai or a 5 minute scooter ride. The resort, which opened a decade ago has been very well maintained and is quite unique, there two beachfront pools from where you can enjoy sweeping ocean views with a great assortment of places to relax and chill out around the property, really comfortable sun loungers, sofas and large cabanas. Apartments & Suites are great, tried the club suite category, beautiful decorated rooms, modern and up to date with all the amenities one would expect from an upscale resort. Very comfortable beds, multiple pillow choices, good English entertainment options the TV, well equipped kitchenette, excellent WiFi throughout, actually better than in some EU & UK destinations! Large balcony overlooking the gardens with table, chairs and sun lounger. Staff is extremely friendly and attentive, you can see them from early in the morning out and about early cleaning up the beach and pool, making sure everything is immaculate. Included Breakfast is fantastic, great selection on offer. À la carte menu was delicious but pricey compared to local places to eat. In the […]
176/34 Moo 4, T. Maret, Lamai Beach, Lamai, Ko Samui 84310, Thailand
Definitely not one of the cheapest options in Chaweng at over $100/night but if you are looking to splurge a little, this is hands down the best guest friendly property in Koh Samui. Voted “Travellers choice of 2018” on TripdAdvisor, it’s achieved their highest recognition and is rated one of the Top 25 Hotels in Thailand. The main reason for the award at this 4-star hotel is the level of hospitality and attentiveness you get from the staff, nothing is ever too much trouble. From the moment you check into the resort you are treated wonderfully and met with cold towels and a refreshing drink by the lovely reception staff. After a few brief formalities you are escorted to one of the 32 rooms that make up this beautiful, intimate resort and shown around the nicely manicured tropical gardens which feel like an oasis separated from the hustle and bustle of the Chaweng outside. The dipping pool and beach are maximum 2 minutes walk from the furthest room. The rooms are tastefully decorated in traditional Thai style with all the facilities/amenities expected from a top resort. Bed and pillows are super cozy and the rooms are serviced twice a day, […]
11/2 Moo 2 Chaweng Beach, Chaweng, Bophut, Ko Samui 84320, Thailand
The BYD Lofts Boutique Hotel & Serviced Apartments is definitely one of the most comfortable stays I’ve had a chance to experience while in Patong. Situated in a quiet area of town, this private 46 luxurious apartments/suites property is conveniently located just 5 minute walk from the beach and a little under 15 minutes walk from the nightlife of Bangla Road. Amenities are very modern and include two swimming pools, one at the roof top while another at ground level, a restaurant and 2 bar/lounges. While they do not offer stunning views over the city, the suites certainly do not fail to impress. Furnished to very high standards the attention to detail is excellent, loved every bit of it, from the tasteful oil paintings that adorn the walls, to the comfortable leather living room couch and modern connected TV with surround stereo sound system, in room coffee machines, fully fitted out kitchen with huge fridge, massive bathroom and balcony with an outdoor settings not to forget the comfy king size bed with high quality linen, down feather duvets and pillows that was a pleasure to sleep in. Property is spread across four buildings adjacent to one another, the fact that […]
5/28 Haad Patong Road, Patong, Phuket, Thailand 83150
The C & N is a is a popular three-star budget hotel that I’ve personally been staying at on and off for the last decade. One of the major selling points here besides the price is the unbeatable location, literally just a minute walk from Bangla road, the epicenter of Patong’s nightlife and five minutes walk to the beach. The hotel itself hidden up a little alley, so noise from the bars and clubs is minimal, light sleepers may want to ask for one the rooms out the back that are a little more quiet. Granted, the C & N has been around a while and the rooms are not the most modern but they are neat, clean and tidy with all the essentials: A comfortable king size bed, flat-screen TV, fridge, safe, balcony, complimentary in room coffee/tea, etc. Staff is also very kind and helpful, cleaning is very well done. They are definitely doing things right as they still get awarded Trip Advisor’s certificate of Excellence to this day while being having being opened since the early 90’s. In the end a very good budget option with everything one you would expect. Have a look above for the pictures […]
151 Rat-U-Thit 200 Pi Road, Patong, Phuket, 83150 Patong Beach, Thailand
The Chaweng Garden Beach Resort is well priced for its location sitting between the main strip, almost directly opposite to the bustling nightlife scene of Soi Green Mango with its load the beer bars/clubs/Go go bars and the turquoise waters of Chaweng beach. Comprised of multiple low rise buildings it is surrounded by beautifully maintained tropical gardens, there are two swimming pools. A newer one with bar which was recently added to the one nearer to the beach. Security is good, guards are posted near the main entrance and will kindly ask for the ladies ID you bring back overnight. Although a little outdated the Superior rooms were clean and well presented, featuring a fairly spacious private balcony with small table and two loungers. Room was relatively quiet for the location, no complaints during my stay, very good AC unit, great Wi-Fi signal, large bathroom with a separate tub and shower and all the needed toiletries. Breakfast is served near the beach, you get to chose from an ample selection of both asian and western buffet spread. At night loungers are swapped for tables by the sea where you can enjoy diner by the beach before going out. The Superior Rooms come […]
162/8 Moo 2, Chaweng Beach, Chaweng, Bophut, Ko Samui 84320, Thailand
The Chaweng Resort is an older resort in traditional Thai style that is best suited for those looking for a quiet daytime retreat by the beach away from hustle and bustle of Central Chaweng. Definitely not 5 stars, but it good value nonetheless for it’s beachfront location, two pools and year round low prices, premises are kept clean. The bungalows are fairly basic but clean, with a charming rustic old furniture made out of wood, beds are a little hard but still comfortable otherwise no worries: Large fridge, modern flatscreen-TV with Cable/satellite coverage, air condition ran fine and good wifi signal throghout. The gardens surrounding offer the bungalows great privacy and are a delight, only 2 minutes walk to beach or pool maximum. Beer bars of Soi Reggae are about a 10 to 15 mins slow walk away, Soi Green Mango is around double that but since the resort is located just in front of the main road public transportation is cheap and plentiful. Have a look below for the pictures of the room and hotel amenities.
18/1 Moo 3 Chaweng Beach Road, Chaweng, Ko Samui 84320, Thailand
The Coral Bay Resort is located near the northern end of Chaweng Beach, in a more quiet area, perfect for those looking for a quiet place to relax and/or detox during the daytime. There are 55 individual free-standing bungalows spread out on 10 acres of lush tropical grounds at the Coral Bay, so If you are looking for peace there’s plenty of that here, the only noise you will here is the constant sound of birds, toads and geckos. The resort has a good size pool and a semi-private beach shared with 2 other hotels. Due to the shallow waters this is not really a swimming beach most of the time but the large pool makes up for that. Bungalows are quite big and have a rustic charm going for them, all made of dark teak wood with a big veranda in front of the entrance and lots of furniture on it to relax and watch the day go by. Standards are generally good, some parts could do with a little renovation like the TV from the 90’s era or the wi-fi signal but otherwise they feel very cozy. The nightlife and Soi Green Mango are about 2KM away, so […]
9 Moo 2, Chaweng Beach, Chaweng, Bophut, Ko Samui 84320, Thailand
The COSI Samui Chaweng Beach a brand new hotel attached to the Samui CentralFestival Mall. Location is very convenient as everything is walking distance from here, in less than five minutes you can have the sand in your toes at Chaweng beach or be enjoying a drink at one of the many beer bars or clubs of Soi Green Mango. The hotel is geared at a 20-30something crowd looking for something cheap, modern and smart. Closest thing that comes to mind would be a hipper version of a Tune Hotel or Ibis. Facilities are limited but include a chill out area above the reception, nice rooftop pool and a little cafe where you can use up your daily 200 Baht complimentary voucher for food and drinks. Rooms are all very small at 18 to 21 sqm, so to be manageable you probably will want to book here only of you spend very limited time inside. Otherwise the design is modern and all the amenities you need are provided: Bed is quite comfortable, not some cheap mattress and pillows, 43-inch Smart flatscreen TV comes with some good channel selection, multiple usb charger points are found for your electronics, some clothes hanging […]
209/4, Moo 2, Chaweng, Bophut, Koh Samui 84320, Thailand
The D Varee Diva Avenue Samui is located just a stone’s throw from Soi Reggae, so if you like to be near the bargirl scene there is plenty of selection just a few steps away. The hotel is split into two separate buildings, the better of the two which hosts the superior and deluxe category rooms has the reception, pool and restaurant. the second, the “residence wing” has the older rooms and gym. Price is very reasonable for what you get but there is nothing really amazing about this hotel. The rooftop pool, which is the main feature is great to have quick dip to cool off but there’s no bar and very limited seating. The superior category are actually quite nice, of decent enough size, bed is average, not exactly hard but could be softer, Led-TV did provide a few good channels to watch, you could see they had fitted a new new air con unit recently and made some renovations. large fridge, decent balcony, electronic safe and the usual coffee/tea making facilities where also present. Wi-Fi was a bit hit and miss especially at peak usage times. Bathroom is of open-glass type with shower, pressure was actually very […]
3/55 Moo 2, Soi Poonsawas, Chaweng, Ko Samui, Thailand 84320
The Dara Samui Beach Resort’s location is awesome, right the middle of the lively part of town, all of the best bars and clubs within easy walking distance. Yet at the same time, once inside this Adult-only resort, you feel locked away in a little haven of peace. The grounds are a bit quirky but help create a relaxing atmosphere with it’s interesting mix of beautiful tropical gardens, wooden walkways and streams of water running throughout, at the beachfront a small but lovely swimming pool and bar lead directly on to the sea. Do keep in mind the beach at this end of Chaweng is very shallow and is not great for swimming, so if that’s a priority you might want to look elsewhere. Room are designed in traditional Thai style and are very well maintained, I really enjoyed the antique wooden bed with it’s comfy mattress and pillows. Amenities also offer modern comfort with TV set offering a selection of english movie channels, a silent and powerful air-conditioning system, free W-Fi and little appreciated extra’s such as a pod coffee machine. Bathroom was well designed with double sinks and a separate bath and shower area. Awarded year after year the […]
162/2 Moo 2 Chaweng Beach, Chaweng, Koh Samui 84320, Thailand
First Bungalow Beach Resort is situated a little after southern end of Chaweng Beach, right on Chaweng Noi beach. Stayed in one of the beach bungalows, which were a little dated but the location right in front of the crystal waters of Chaweng Noi made up for that. Beach bar was very handy, the drinks and snacks there are very reasonably price, always plenty of free sun loungers around, very relaxing area. Bungalows are sized at 34 sqm and kept spotless, beds maybe a little firm but yeah this is Thailand, Flat-screen TV had grainy reception, Wi-Fi a little slow at times, fine for social media stuff but definitely no video streaming. Other than that no issues: A/C ran seemingly, mini-bar kept your drinks cool, electronic safe for your valuables, tea and coffee making facilities, etc. Bathroom has a bath over shower setup that provided instant hot water, toiletries were limited to bath gel, shampoo and cotton buds. Resort also offers cheaper but almost identical pool bungalows as well as even more affordable accommodations in a high rise building. The swimming pool area is massive with a pool bar on deck, always lots of sun-beds available. Place is not recommended […]
4/6 Moo 3, Chaweng Beach, Chaweng, Koh Samui, Surat Thani, 84320, Thailand
Forty Winks is a lovely little no-frills budget hotel tucked in the back of Patong on Nanai Road, a good 1.5 KM from beach road. Best suited for those who don’t mind walking 15/20 mins to Bangla Road in the hot and humid weather or plan on renting a bike. Hotel design is a little quirky but I loved it, you’ll notice it on arrival with the steampunk/industrial-themed lobby. Amenities are not extensive but do include a restaurant and a small pool that’s great for a quick dip after a long day in the sweltering heat or to nurse a morning hangover. Rooms as cosy, they come in two similar categories sized 25 & 30 sqm, all have a small balcony facing the road letting plenty of natural light in, comfortable bed & pillows where sheets and towels are changed every day. Amenities are basic but everything works fine, 32-inch LED TV in room with quite a selection of channels, very decent Wi-Fi signal, minibar fully stocked with prices similar to the 7/11, safe, air-con and water heater worked flawlessly. Only complain I could think about is the shower does not have a curtain so the floor floods easily. Staff […]
64/1 Nanai Road, Patong, Phuket, 83150 Patong Beach, Thailand
Sweet spot in terms of Pricing, Location and Facilities, rooms are spacious and very clean though the furniture is getting a little dated
133/2 Sukhumvit Soi 21, Bangkok, Thailand
Hallo Patong is a small property situated 200 meters of the back of the town’s biggest mall, the Jungceylon Shopping Center. Location offers easy access to Patong’s ground zero for nightlife, Bangla road only 10 minutes walk away while the beach, for all your daytime activities is just a 5 minutes walk further down from there. The hotel is comprising of two sections, an older and a newer part. The standard room (which you see in the pictures provided) are from older part. These are quite basic but still manage to offer the essentials: a comfy bed, mini-bar, air-con, coffee/tea making facilities, a small balcony, hot shower and a set of free toiletries. The bathroom shower, while offering good water pressure has no curtains so the whole area floods easily. Otherwise on the positive side rooms are kept clean, free WiFi is offered in all areas, hotel amenities include a restaurant and a nice little rooftop pool with bar service offering panoramic views over Patong, a great place to cool down with a beer. In the end like with anything, you get what you pay for. I would recommend, if you got the budget to spend a few extra bucks […]
182/5-6 Phangmuang Sai Kor Road, Patong, Phuket, Thailand 83150
With a central location right at the heart of Pattaya along the beach, the Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya offers you a sense of wonderful seclusion and comfort when you need it. The pool is amazing and massive, with a variation of both tile pool with swim up bar, Jacuzzi and plenty of cushioned lounge chairs to relax in and a sand based area complete with cabanas that you can rent for the day. When you do chose to leave the premise it’s within easy walking distance to the beer bar enclaves of Soi 6,7 & 8 and the CentraFestival mall. Walking street is a good 20 minutes walk but you can just hop on any bath bus on beach road and be there in less than 5 minutes. Hotel amenities are great and, the staff were genuine and provide excellent service, like other themed hard rock hotel they feature great music, lots of music memorabilia is on display, great atmosphere, great decoration, live bands are very good and have quite the personality. What really rocks is that the Hard rock is guest friendly and allows a joiner per day free of charge, more is charged at a rate of 1,200 […]
429 Moo.9, Nongprue, Banglamung, Pattaya Beach Road, Pattaya, Thailand
The Hemingways Silk Hotel is a very popular 3-star property located in a quiet, but central area near the end of Soi Sansabai. Just close enough to be able to do everything on foot but at the same time not be bothered by noise at the end the day: Bangla road, Jungceylon mall, Patong beach are all between 5 to 10 minutes walk. Not the biggest of rooms but nicely designed and modern with a comfy king size beds. Loved the great blackout curtains that let you sleep in peacefully and recover after a long night out. Good set of amenities: Flat-screen TV offers lots of channels, free and fast Wi-Fi on an unlimited number of devices, modern safe, well stocked mini-bar, little balcony to dry clothes or enjoy a beer, really nothing to complain here. Hotel facilities include a roof top pool with bar (opening hours 10AM-10PM), a sun bathing area and a restaurant where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. All the staff friendly, helpful and many have a great sense of humor. In the end the Hemingways Silk offers clean and modern facilities that outclasses most hotels of similar star ratings in the area so I […]

If you are looking for the best hotel Guest Friendly Hotel in Pattaya that money can buy, then look no further. Yes the rates might be a little costly but the Pattaya Hilton is a 1st class hotel with an unbeatable location right at the center of beach road, it’s sophisticated, beautiful and chic. Their infinity pool is spectacular, the rooftop bar and restaurant, 34th floors above the beach offers unparalleled view over the bay and city, drinks was fantastic, dining is delicious, service is flawless, staff are knowledgeable and friendly, always wearing a big smile on their face even past midnight, basically every amenity that you could want in an upscale hotel is offered here. Sea-view rooms are absolutely worth it with the beds facing the ocean, balcony comes with your own private Jacuzzi, floor-to-ceiling doors that stretch almost the entirety of the room, definitely one of the most beautiful room I have had the chance to stay in Thailand to date. So if money is no issue, well this is as good as it gets. Have a look above for the pictures of the room and hotel amenities.
333/101 Moo 9, Nong Prue, Banglamung, Pattaya Beach Road, Pattaya, Thailand
The Holiday Inn Pattaya is located along the quieter, Northern end of the 3KM long Beach Road strip. Although Walking Street and most of the city’s nightlife are found at the opposite end, transportation is a breeze since baht buses stop right outside of the drive and for 10 THB will take you anywhere along beach road. The Holiday Inn Pattaya comprises two modern high rise buildings, while all rooms get partial views over the Gulf of Siam, the ones in the Bay tower have the best balcony panoramic views over the city and ocean. To be frank, staying at a Holiday Inn in North America or in Europe has never been much of an eventful experience, I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised with the level of quality here in South-East Asia, reception area is bright and tastefully decorated, infinity pool layout overlooking the seafront is gorgeous, staff are extremely pleasant and helpful, buffet breakfast is outstanding. I stayed in the executive tower, room itself was very clean, modern, bed, linen, pillows and duvet were very comfortable, tastefully furnished a sofa and footstool. Overall I can recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quieter beachfront location […]
463/99 Pattaya Sai 1 Rd., Nongprue, Banglamung, Pattaya Beach Road, Pattaya, Thailand
Hotel Vista enjoys a nice and quiet location along soi 4 in the northern part of central Pattaya, just 220 m from the beach. Atmosphere is very relaxed in this part of town, excellent option for those who like to base themselves near the beer-bars of Soi 6, just 5-6 minutes walk away. Nicely designed hotel with a beautiful salty-water swimming pool secluded up front of the hotel, nice pool side bar and sauna. Can definite recommend the grilled seafood buffet with unlimited beer, wine, soft-drinks including Fresh river prawn, scallops, salmon, mussels mixing Japanese, Thai, Korean & American cuisine. Room are clean and modern, the Club Luxx category have lovely balconies overlooking of the pool area, comfortable bed with nice linen and pillows, mood lighting, widescreen TV, mini bar well stocked, excellent air con, some wear and tear could be noticed in the room but nothing major, property opened in 2008. No joiner fees for overnight stay, so popular with single guests. Have a look above for the pictures of the room and hotel amenities.
196 Pattaya Soi 4, Banglamung, Pattaya Beach Road, Pattaya, Thailand
The Ibis Bangkok Sukhumvit 4 is very conveniently located right along Soi 4 (Nana), just on the outside fringe of Bangkok’s most popular redlight district. Besides the odd location and continuous stream of bargirls coming and going with guests everything else is quite in line with the typical Ibis brand standards that we are used to wordwide. Rated as a 3-star hotel this is your basic no frills budget hotel where the facilities are limited to rooms, a bar and restaurant. Standard rooms are quite compact at 20 sq.m and come equipped with a good bed, en suite high pressure shower room, flat-screen TV, small mini-bar, a counter top for your laptop, wardrobe with few shelves, safe and coffee/tea making facilities, wi-fi is also included free of charge. So in the end, love it or hate it this is your typical Ibis chain offering standardized and consistent accommodations and service. Have a look above for the pictures of the room and hotel amenities.
41 Sukhumvit Road Soi 4, Klongtoey, Bangkok, Bangkok, 10110, Thailand
The Impiana, is an excellent boutique resort with an unbeatable picture perfect location right along Patong beach. While many resorts claim to be on the beach resorts, the truth is there are but three that are directly located on the beachfront and the Impiana is one of lucky few. While the resort is only a 5 minutes walk to the famous Bangla Walking Street, once inside you feel a million miles away. The resort enjoys a a very relaxing atmosphere, grounds are lush, green and well kept, pool is beautiful and only 5 steps from the beach, swimming and looking out over the uninterrupted views of the Andaman Sea is a real delight, numerous sun loungers around, the whole environment is really conducive to chilling. All rooms are on ground floor and adorned in traditional dark Thai wood furnishings with all modern amenities inside, bathrooms are of generous size, cleanliness is up to standard, patio with chairs to chill out offering a good level of privacy. All the staff from the pool and bar to the reception and restaurant were excellent, security is also great, always 2-3 guards posted or on patrol 24/7. Awarded year after year the certificate of […]
41 Taweewongse Roa, Patong beach, Phuket, Thailand 83150
The Inn Residence Bangkok Sukhumvit is tucked up a quiet alleyway 500m from Sukhumvit Road. Location is not spot on but still quite convenient, two of the biggest red light districts of Bangkok: Nana Plaza & Soi Cowboy are within a 15 mins walking distance and just around the corner you’ll find one of the liveliest streets of the Sukhumvit area, Soi 11 offering a multitude of bars, clubs, hostess bars and restaurants. While the Studio class is already quite spacious, I believe the 1-bedroom suites at about double the size of your ordinary Bangkok hotel room are well worth the $10 premium. Rooms are modern and well furnished. Amenities include among other things: A big work desk & comfy couch in the living room, two flat screen TV’s, full kitchen and separate dining table, bedroom with big soft bed, bathroom enclosed shower with an excellent stream of hot water and soaking tub. As most 4 to 5-star hotels the mini-bar prices are quite high, but you are never further than about 100m from a 7/11 in Bangkok so it’s quite easy to avoid this. The Inn Residence Bangkok Sukhumvit have a small swimming pool, Jacuzzi and bar on the 9th floor, […]
23/2 Sukhumvit 13, Sukhumvit Road, Klongtoey Nua, Wattana, Sukhumvit, Bangkok, Thailand
I’ve stayed at the Intimate Hotel, formally known as Tim Boutique quite a few times over the years and it has always left me a good feeling. location is very central so you can get most places just in a short walk, Soi Diana is just around the corner, 10 minutes max gets you to the beach and Walking Street is maybe 15 minutes away. Deluxe rooms are decently sized and kept clean and tidy, bed is comfortable, flat-screen TV offers a decent range of channels but nothing out of the ordinary, plenty of storage space but small safe which won’t fit any laptop over 12-inch in size, good amount of free power outlets, could charge up to 4 devices simultaneously. The bathroom is equipped with a large bath that doubles as shower with plenty of hot water and decent pressure, usual set of toiletries (soap, shampoo, shower gel etc.) are provided. Hotel has a nice little rooftop pool with a swim up bar and jacuzzi, great place to chill out.Have a look above for the pictures of the room and hotel amenities.
397/42 Moo 10 Pattaya second road, Nongprue, Banglamung,Chonburi, Central Pattaya, Pattaya, Thailand
The Jang Resort is a 3-star property tucked on a quieter side street with little to no motor traffic surrounded by many happy ending massage parlors, bars and restaurants. Location itself is great as it allows you to easily access the best of what Patong has to offer: Beach, Bangla road nightlife, Jungceylon mall, Hooters and the Hard Rock Cafe are all within a 5 to 10 minutes walk. The Resort is small in size with only 25 rooms spread around a small but adequate pool. Rooms are cozy and clean but furnished with older amenities, bedding quality is very decent, bathroom is the part that is really starting to show it’s age but nonetheless still fully functional. Almost all the rooms on 1st floor rooms open up onto the pool and are equipped with chairs and a table to sit outside. Facilities are limited to a pool, bar and restaurant. Overall a great little oasis with a shaded pool only 100 meters from the beach and 300 meters from the nightlife with older but decent rooms, those looking for modern resort will definitely have to look elsewhere. Have a look above for the pictures of the room and hotel amenities.
210/23 Soi Kebsub, Patong, Phuket, Thailand 83150
Simply put, the JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok is the classiest option you can find just a block away from the red-light district of Nana Plaza. Located on a quiet street just at the back, the JW Marriott towers over Soi Nana and while you can see see the bright neon signs while waiting for an elevator or even from some rooms, it never permeates inside the hotel so you can enjoy the calm atmosphere at the pool, bars and restaurants without even noticing your proximity to that other world. The JW Marriott Bangkok itself is simply fantastic, service is wonderful, staff friendly, food is outstanding. Rooms are very comfortable, decorated in dark tones with rich wood paneling and marble bathrooms. These might feel a little outdated compared to the newer hotels, However the fittings and beds are definitely of Marriott quality and it just works. Have a look above for the pictures of the room and hotel amenities.
