The BYD Lofts Boutique Hotel & Serviced Apartments is definitely one of the most comfortable stays I’ve had a chance to experience while in Patong. Situated in a quiet area of town, this private 46 luxurious apartments/suites property is conveniently located just 5 minute walk from the beach and a little under 15 minutes walk from the nightlife of Bangla Road. Amenities are very modern and include two swimming pools, one at the roof top while another at ground level, a restaurant and 2 bar/lounges.

While they do not offer stunning views over the city, the suites certainly do not fail to impress. Furnished to very high standards the attention to detail is excellent, loved every bit of it, from the tasteful oil paintings that adorn the walls, to the comfortable leather living room couch and modern connected TV with surround stereo sound system, in room coffee machines, fully fitted out kitchen with huge fridge, massive bathroom and balcony with an outdoor settings not to forget the comfy king size bed with high quality linen, down feather duvets and pillows that was a pleasure to sleep in. Property is spread across four buildings adjacent to one another, the fact that there is only a single suite per floor accessible by elevator also gives you a very private experience.

Staff were all are extremely courteous without being intrusive, security were easygoing when arriving with overnight guests. BYD is Awarded each year TripAdvisor’s “Certificate of Excellence”.
