The Lamai Wanta is one of the most conveniently located resorts in Lamai, directly in the middle of the action with all the beer bars, pubs and clubs practically at your doorstep or within an easy 5 minutes walk. Tucked in a side street in a lovely tropical garden setting, very little noise of the hustle and bustle manages to get into the resort. A pool overlooking the beach is found at the front of the property, with poolside bar service, always plenty of sun loungers to chose from on the beach and around the pool. Entry level rooms are quite basic but come with all the essentials (TV, A/C mini-bar, safe, kettle, free daily water, etc). Particularly enjoyed the bed and pillows, unusually comfortable for Thailand. Unfortunately WiFi signal was hit and miss. Free standing bungalows area also available closer to the beach.
Highly recommended for it’s proximity of the nightlife, excellent beachfront location with an infinity pool overlooking the sea and competitive rates during low season. Have a look below for the pictures I have personally took during my stay of the room and hotel amenities.
