The LK Renaissance (which now has been re-branded as the LK Renaissance) enjoys a prime location on Soi Diana with most of Central Pattaya’s nightlife nearby, this is currently one of my favorite areas to base myself, vibe is laid-back, making it a great place to start your evening but also a very strategic option for those who like to do everything on foot, just 3 minutes walk to LK Metro, 5 mins to Soi Buakhao and under 10 mins to the beach, Central Festival mall or the beer bar enclaves of Soi 7 & 8, with lot’s of cheap baht buses routes along the way.
The hotel is appointed in the distinct LK vintage European style, which might not exactly be the most modern theme out there but what I love about them is quality and comfort found in their rooms. 1st the bedding is always extremely comfortable, so great in fact I literally slept 10 hours straight on the first night on arrival, 2nd there’s the size of the rooms, at 60 square meters my superior room enjoyed about double of the living space than your average Pattaya hotel, then there’s little perks of being geared towards the guest friendly market like the Jacuzzi or whirlpool tub in bathrooms. Yeah the Victorian era theme might be starting to show its age, colors a little dulling and a nick here and there but amenities are great, from the roomy well-stocked fridge to the LCD TV offering lots of premium channels everything makes this hotel a great option for short to longer stays.
