The Nova Gold Hotel is located in a quieter part of town that’s a little off the grid, but really not that far from the action as the walk to Pattaya 2nd Road is around 10 minutes from where you up almost directly en up just opposite from the to the beer bars of Soi 6. Hotel also offers complimentary transportation to and from Central Pattaya Road (nearer to Soi 7) & 2nd road (between Soi 6/1 and Soi 6).
The Nova Goldis definitely not the best 4-star category hotel in Pattaya but it is one of the cheapest and offers some excellent value for money. That said, the amenities are quite limited, by staying here you’ll have to live with the fact there there isn’t an in-house restaurant and that you can’t sun-bathe by the pool since it’s on the ground floor and completely in the shade. Guests can, however, use the larger rooftop pool of their sister Amari Nova Suites hotel just 2 minutes away. Rooms are well appointed and all feature a balcony, king size bed (a bit firm, but nothing outside of the usual Thai standards), bathrooms with both bath tub and separate shower, small flat screen TV with a good set of channels, full mini-bar, safe, Fast wifi, plenty of storage space, in room slippers & bathrobes, toiletries etc. Staff are courteous and efficient but without being overly friendly.
