The Palm Coco Mantra is a beautiful new boutique hotel with just 20 rooms and 6 bungalows nestled on a fabulous beachfront location on the outskirts of Lamai. Vibe is relaxed and friendly, The grounds are meticulously landscaped. Facilities include a lovely infinity pool, plenty of comfy sun beds/big bean bags adjacent to a beach bar and restaurant area. The staff are exceptional, you really feel that personal touch from the moment you set foot until the moment you leave. The beach was fine, although water levels in this part of the bay are very shallow, making it not suitable for swimming. Great resort to chill out, lay on beach, dive in pool sometimes and enjoy the view.
Got a Superior Sea View on the third floor, rooms is bright and colourful, bed large and extremely comfortable, also spacious enough at 30 m² in size, all the essential facilities provided: Mini-bar, TV with HBO, excellent WiFi signal, small safe and padlock, coffee/tea making facilities plus a quiet and efficient a/c unit. Bathroom was a bit of a letdown, just a wet room but everything functional. The balcony has very comfy chairs with cushions, the sea view is really stunning to wake up to every morning. In the end a very calm and peaceful resort by the sea with a fantastic pool, good food and drinks, great views and an exceptional staff. Not for those who want to be in the middle of it all, keep in mind it’s a 5 to 10 minutes ride on a scooter to the nightlife. Have a look below for the pictures I have personally took during my stay of the room and hotel amenities.
