The Samui First House Resort enjoys a nice and quiet location along Chaweng’s southern end. Sandwiched right in-between Chaweng and Chaweng Noi beaches, you can easily access both under 5 mins walk. The resort built it’s own a private bridge which backs out onto directly onto Chaweng Noi in about 2-3 minutes, where plenty of sun loungers sunbeds and umbrellas (no charge) await you. The sand is a little more course than on the main Chaweng drag but it’s a more secluded and private area, sea is warm and blue with lots of tropical fishes swimming around, beachfront hotels you will find along it are also typically more higher-end.
The resort itself is split into two different building, which offer different comfort levels. Standard rooms are located in the budget older wing with little or no view while newer main building, shaped like a little like cruise ship, host the more comfortable deluxe rooms around the pool. Bear in mind, that regardless of the room category you chose room, the main reason for staying in this ageing resort is the direct access to Chaweng Noi beach. Though you can reach the center quite easily using the songthaew (public shared taxi) keep in mind that the nightlife of Soi Green Mango is a good 40 minute walk away.
