The Samui Island Beach is not the newest of resorts, but will please those looking for simple and affordable beachfront accommodations just outside of the main Chaweng strip. Town is still quite easily accessible by road with a 5-minutes tuk-tuk ride or a longer 20-minutes walk via the beach. Location is perfect for those who love to have some daytime relaxation by the pool and bar overlooking the ocean. The beach is only accessible at low tide, the rest of the time the water comes right up to the edge of the resort, making it more like sitting by a pier.
The Samui Island Beach Resort offers modest bungalows, beds are comfortable but the older amenities could definitely do with a little TLC. However despite being in need of some updating, the rooms are kept clean and the bedding/towels changed daily. Staff very pleasant and accommodating. The Samui Island Beach Resort and Hotel Guest Friendly Policy: This is to acknowledge your message regarding your query for our procedure regarding inviting an overnight guest to stay with you. As per our hotel policy there is no additional charge staying 2 persons in one room. However, if ever you will invite someone not included in your booking to stay with you, you will sign a joiners agreement and it is required that your guest will surrender her identification card with the security guard.
