The Adelphi Suites Bangkok is located on a quiet street really near all the fun and lights of Bangkok, the main two redlight districts are within easy walking distance. Nana Plaza is less than 10 mins away and Soi Cowboy under 15 mins so so you really don’t need to hassle with tuk-tuk/taxi drivers or take any form of public transportation.
Sukhumvit Soi 8, Khlong Toei, 10110 Bangkok, Thailand
The Admiral Premier Bangkok is less than 5 minutes walk from Soi Cowboy, one of Bangkok’s best red light districts. For a single guy traveling alone, this is a perfect location.
8 Soi 23 Sukhumvit Road, Wattana, 10110 Bangkok, Thailand
The Admiral Suites is located on Soi 22, right at the doorstep of Bangkok’s Phrom Phong area. This is where you will find the biggest concentration of oily/naughty massage shops in the city. The famous red light district of Soi Cowboy is fifteen minutes walk away and from there you can easily reach Nana Plaza, only one stop from the Asoke BTS Station.
38, 38/14 Sukhumvit Soi 22, Khlong Toei, 10110 Bangkok, Thailand
The Alt Nana is a great little hotel hidden in an alley just off the main Soi 4 drag and about 10 mins walk from Nana Plaza. Suites are quite spacious at 45-50 sq.m and are very well furnished with kitchen and full sized fridge, big living room with couches, comfy bed.
222 Sukhumvit Soi 4 Sub Soi 2 (Soi Nana), Bangkok, Thailand
The Ambassador Hotel Bangkok is very conveniently located in Soi 11, one of the busiest street in the Sukhumvit area with numerous bars, clubs, and restaurants. Once the night falls you are sure to find a lot of available Thai ladies in the various venues or right off the street selling their wares. The two biggest Red-light districts of Bangkok: Nana Plaza & Soi Cowboy are also within walking distance respectively 10 & 15 minutes away.
171 Sukhumvit Road Soi 11, Wattana, 10110 Bangkok, Thailand
The Arte Hotel is one of the newer properties to open in the Asoke area. The Location on Soi 19 is excellent, a Quiet spot only a 10 mins walk from Soi Cowboy with easy access to everything that Bangkok has to offer through the Asoke Subway and Skytrain less than 5 mins away. First impressions on arrival were very positive, Lobby was posh, competent staff and easy check-inn, interior decor is very appealing and the highlight is their rooftop pool and lounge area on the 9th floor overlooking the city, very nice spot to relax with beer or cocktail in hand.
29 Sukhumvit Soi 19, Asoke. Bangkok 10110, Thailand
The Aspen Suites Hotel is tucked away near the end of Soi 2 in a very quiet location less 10 minutes walk from the party zone on Soi 4 and the Red Light District of Nana Plaza. The pictures you see that I have taken here (and below) are of their Deluxe Room.
65 Soi Sukhumvit 2, Khlong Toei, Bangkok 10110, Thailand
The Beer Garden on Soi 7 in Sukhumvit has been a famous freelancer pickup joint for decades, one of the few places that is still running since the Vietnam war era, after the mass departure of American soldiers on R&R in Thailand a new wave of Western mass tourism arrived in Bangkok which was dubbed as the “German Invasion”. This when the Beer Garden was re-branded as the Bier Garten, one of the few surviving old-school bars from the 70’s era. The place is a mix of bar and restaurant which plays music and live sporting events, there is seating for 50 at the dining tables and 300 at the bars. The place has a nice atmosphere, very casual, people are friendly and the freelancers aren’t aggressive, no overpriced drinks, food is good, service is fair and professional. This is one of the main reasons it attracts a crowd of mostly middle age male and expats. The average working girls here isn’t in Bangkok’s top tier but they are pleasant to chat with and share a joke, nor do they harass unsuspecting customers unsuspecting tourist like the bargirls in other places. Since the freelancers are not associated with the beer garden there […]

The Best Western Premier Sukhumvit is great new addition to the guest friendly Hotel in the Sukhumvit area. Opened just a few years ago in Mai 2012, the hotel looked good throughout: Elegant, smart, clean throughout this is actually nicest Best Western Hotel I have ever stayed in, and I can tell you I’ve stayed in quite a few around the world!
78 Sukhumvit Soi 1, Klongtoey Nua, Bangkok, Wattana, 10110 Bangkok, Thailand
Boss Suites Nana is located about 70 m inside down a quiet alley right off from Soi 4, so while it’s only a short 10 minutes walk from the craziness of Nana Plaza you can still escape the noise and get a good night sleep once back in your room. The hotel also provides a free Tuk Tuk shuttle to Nana BTS Skytrain and Sukhumvit Main Road
40,42 Sukhumvit Soi 4 (Nana Tai). Sukhumvit Road. Klongtoey, Khlong Toei, 10110 Bangkok, Thailand
Located on one of the liveliest streets in Bangkok the Climax Nightclub is usually the 1st place I recommend friends to check out when looking for freelancers, 90% of the females there are working girls and many quite sexy. Since the place closes late at around 4AM many of the go go bar girls from Nana Plaza & Soi Cowboy who are looking to make some extra cash end up there after their shift. The Climax nightclub first opened its doors a little over a decade ago and quickly became a popular pick up joint as it was one of the few late night options in Bangkok. Their recipe for success is very similar to what made clubs in Bangla Rd, Phuket popular: Live bands to please the tourists and to drive the local talent, free entry and massively discounted drinks for Thai ladies. With great beats, hot Thai ladies and live gigs as well as a DJ sets, Climax blends this all well together to make your evening a wild one.
171 Soi 11, Khwaeng Khlong Toei Nuea, Khet Watthana, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10110, Thailand
The Dawin Bangkok is a newly renovated hotel right on Soi Nana (Soi 4) which offers perfectly adequate accommodations for single travelers that wish to be near the biggest red light district of Thailand Nana Plaza. Walking distance is just under than 10 minutes with no shortage of bars, clubs, massage joints, restaurants, 7/11’s, etc. on the way there.
35/1-2 Sukhumvit Road, Soi Nanatai (4), Khlong Toei, 10110 Bangkok, Thailand
The Majestic Grande Hotel is another one of my favorite places to stay in Sukhumvit, definitely a cut above the expected levels for the Nana area. The Location on Soi 2 is surprisingly quiet, considering it’s only a 30 second walk across to Soi 4 and under 5 mins from Nana Plaza. Getting to Soi Cowboy and the greater Bangkok is also a breeze with both BTS/Skytain stations Ploenchit and Nana within easy walking distance.
12 Sukhumvit Soi 2, Khlong Toei, 10110 Bangkok, Thailand
The Dream Hotel is a great little boutique hotel located in a very relaxed atmosphere on a quiet Soi up 200 meters from Sukhumvit road. A 10 minutes stroll will get you to either Asoke or Nana BTS/Skytrain Stations & within 15 minutes walk maximum you can be sitting in a bar of one of the two biggest Red-Light Districts of Bangkok: Nana Plaza & Soi Cowboy.
10 Sukhumvit Soi 15, Klong Toey Nua, Wattana, Sukhumvit, Bangkok, Thailand
The location of the Dynasty Grande Hotel is wonderful, tucked away on a small soi you get a quiet place to retreat at night yet within easy access to Nana Plaza and Soi 4 a few minutes walk away. Rooms are spacious and quite comfortable, bathroom maybe a little dated but comes with full bath and a seperate enclosed shower offering great water pressure. Furniture in my Grand Deluxe include a 40-inch flat-screen TV, king size bed with nice linen and 4 comfortable pillows, sofa and table, a writing desk with chair, very decent mini-bar and laptop capable electronic safe. housekeeping service was great and the room was kept spotless.Hotel facilities include a relaxing pool area with fitness room. ave a look below for the pictures I have personally took during my stay of the room and hotel amenities.
21 Soi Sukhumvit 6 (Soi Nana), Sukhumvit Road, Bangkok, Thailand
The EQ Late Night Club is the only disco in direct vincinity of Nana Plaza’s red light district, all you need to do to get there within a minutes walk is turn on your left as you exit the strip bars onto Soi 4 and walk down past the newly opened Hooters. This makes it very convenient to just pop in for a drink and see if there are any Thai ladies that you fancy without having to take the usual taxi or tuk-tuk route. Most of the clientele for that reason are from the area and arrive directly from the A-GoGos and bars of Soi Nana after they have been forced to shut down at 2AM. The EQ is small club, somewhere around 200 people capacity, decor is modern and bright where a bunch of pretty sexy coyote waitresses serve, dance and entertain the crowd to the beat of resident and guest DJ’s playing a mix of EDM, Top 40 Mash-ups and Hip Hop beats. While these girls who are employed by the bar are not are not barfineable there usually are always at least a handful of freelancers looking for customers. Of course it’s nowhere near it’s heyday […]
Soi nana, Sukhumvit, Khlong Toei, Bangkok, 10110, Thailand
The Fraser Suites Sukhumvit is one of my favorite hotels in Bangkok, big 1-bedroom apartments with an excellent bar and pool, it enjoys a great quiet location just off the main road of Soi 11 with lots of nice bars, pubs, clubs and eating joints less than 5 minutes walk away.
38/8 Sukhumvit soi 11, Klong Toey Nua, Wattana, Sukhumvit, Bangkok, Thailand
The Galleria 10 Sukhumvit Bangkok is a cosy little boutique hotel conveniently located about 250mtrs down Soi 10, between the Asok and Nana BTS stations so it’s just a 10 to 15 minutes walk from Nana Plaza or to Cowboy Soi. The rooftop area with swimming pool, bar & restaurant are nice great place to chill. Room decor is modern and trendy, the superior room I booked was a little tight for space, loved the blue mood lights and furnishings, the kingsize bed is super soft, nice LED TV with lots of channels, great AC for the hot weather, The only issue is the slow wifi speed at times and the tiny mini-bar, other than that very happy of my stay. Have a look below for the pictures I have personally took during my stay of the room and hotel amenities.
21, Sukhumvit Soi 10, Sukhumvit Road, Bangkok 10110, Thailand
The Grand President is a big, old-fashioned Hotel with a great central location right in the thick of Soi 11. A very popular street that comes to life in the evening with plenty of clubs, bars, restaurants, street food and nightlife venues that are just a few minutes away, The red-light districts of Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy are also nearby and can both be reached respectively in 10 and 15 mins walk. Hotel has 437 rooms and comprises three separate towers, reception is found in tower 1, tower 2 is adjacent and tower 3 is just across the road, All 3 towers have their own rooftop pool and restaurant.
14, 16 Sukhumvit 11, Wattana, 10110 Bangkok, Thailand
It’s nice to have a little luxury once in a while and the Grande Centre Point Hotel Terminal 21 is exactly that, location is fantastic, you can walk straight into the hotel from the Asoke BTS skytrain platform or the Terminal 21 mall, Soi Cowboy is just across the street, Nana Plaza one stop away. The rooms are exceptional due to the oversize glass window offering perfect views on the skyline of Bangkok, electric blinds that block out shades, comfortable bed and pillows, nice floor tiles, big refrigerator with freezer, wide screen TV with an excellent selection of channels, top notch wi-fi. One of the best features of the hotel is it’s fantastic rooftop infinity pool, one of the best in Bangkok with plenty of sun loungers and since it’s 30 meters long also good for lap swimmers, I could spend hours just chilling around it. Also on the rooftop level is well-equipped Fitness center and Spa, two tennis courts and the mini putting green and gardens. Have a look above for the pictures I have personally took during my stay of the room and hotel amenities.
2, Sukhumvit Soi 19, Sukhumvit Road, Sukhumvit, Bangkok, Thailand
The Heaven at 4 is located right on Soi 4 Nana, just 2 blocks from Nana Plaza with an endless stream of bars right at your doorstep, amenities at this budget category hotel are limited to a bar & pool table area near the lobby, no pool or gym, it’s not a huge place, but was happy overall with the accommodations. Booked their Deluxe category, room was of decent size and pretty clean and tidy, some parts are starting to show it’s age and it could need a fresh coat of paint but everything worked well, large comfortable double bed, TV, mini bar, air-con, wi-fi good shower with lots of hot water, boiler with free coffee, closet with a small safe, 2 free bottles of water each day. The mood lighting in the room also which was a nice touch, while there is a balcony it was paneled off so there was no view at all. Other than that nothing much to complain about, staff are a friendly bunch, not a bad option if you want to be in the middle of the action without spending too much. Have a look above for the pictures I have personally took during […]
20/3-4 Sukhumvit Soi 4, Sukhumvit, Bangkok, Thailand, 10110
Great new trendy boutique hotel with a brilliant location on Soi 2, totally isolated from surrounding noise but at the same time just a 3 minutes walk from to the hustle and bustle of Soi 4’s Red-light district and maybe 5 minutes away from the entrance of Nana Plaza.
49 Sukhumvit Road Soi 2, Klongteay Nua, Wattana, 10110 Bangkok, Thailand
The Hotel Solo Sukhumvit 2 is a is a lovely little boutique type hotel, just far enough down the soi 2 to be quiet while just 5-10 mins walk away from Nana Plaza and all the action on Soi 4, a free Tuk-Tuk shuttle to Sukhumvit road is also available if needed. My favorite feature is their rooftop pool/bar, relaxing and cozy, very nice place to chill after a long hot day. Booked a deluxe room, which ended up being to my taste, while not huge in size they are clean and really well appointed, beds are comfortable, air-con and shower work well, good set of free toiletries, ample storage space, modern Led-TV, complimentary tea/coffee, friendly english speaking staff, definitely is worth the price and it’s certificate of excellence by TripAdvidor. Have a look above for the pictures I have personally took during my stay of the room and hotel amenities.
67, Sukhumvit Soi 2, KlongToey, Bangkok 10110, Thailand
Formerly Insomnia, The Insanity Nightclub been an important part of Bangkok’s nightlife for quite a few years already and is quite popular with Thai girls, tourists and expats. They have used great marketing tactics in the past to attract to the local talent through advertisement on Soi Cowboy, inviting bargirls who have not found a customer in Go-Go bars by closing time to come to the club and try their luck as late night freelancers offering them a special prices on drinks and free entrance. The tactic has worked very well and on average on any given night the working girl make up over 75% of the ladies that show up. The sexiest girls for hire have a tendency to grab tables surrounding the dance floor and the ugliest are found in the darkest area of the club along the bar in the back. The club is quite big and has enough space to host 300 to 400 guests but usually doesn’t start getting busy until 1AM. They play mostly electric beats, hip hop and trance music, staff are very efficient at taking your drink orders at your table which can be quite a hassle on a packed night to try […]
11, 32/2 ถนน สุขุมวิท, แขวง คลองเตยเหนือ, เขต วัฒนา, กรุงเทพมหานคร 10110, Thailand
The Jasmine City Hotel couldn’t be in a better position, all you need to do is turn right and 50 meters later you’ve arrived in Soi Cowboy, maybe 3 min walk to Asok BTS and 5 minutes to Terminal 21, lots of food and bars around, still very quiet at night once you head back to your room. Facilities include a pool on the 10th floor between the two towers of the hotel anf a gym. Make no mistake, this is an older hotel, so the decor is a bit dated but having said that the rooms are kept immaculately clean and are fully functional. I booked their Executive Suite with Jacuzzi and was very happy with it, spacious 45 sq.m living space with wood flooring, comfortable bed with nice linens, nice big sofa with a view of the Asoke Skytrain in the background, big TV with stereo sound system with lots of English speaking channels, a second room with a well-equipped kitchenette, full sized refrigerator. All-in-all a great experience, well worth the price. Have a look above for the pictures I have personally took during my stay of the room and hotel amenities.
2 Soi Prasarnmitr (Sukhumvit 23) | Khlongtoey-Nua, Wattana, Bangkok 10110, Thailand
Lohas Residences Sukhumvit is located at a quiet end of Soi 2, providing a close but quiet retreat from the madness of soi 4 and Nana Plaza, while they offer a complimentary tuk-tuk it’s just a 5 minute walk from all the action. I went with their cheapest accommodations “the Lohas Deluxe” and the rooms are quite large at 45 sq.m and well maintained, including all modern amenities such as LCD TV with lots of channels, fast wireless internet, bathroom with Japanese toilets and a kitchenette with a big refrigerator and even a washing machine, plenty of storage space and a work desk in the corner. Hotel amenities include a relaxing little pool, fitness room, two hot tubs and sauna areas on the rooftop which are opened reasonably late until 1PM. Staff and all staff very polite, friendly and well trained. Have a look above for the pictures I have personally took during my stay of the room and hotel amenities.
75, Sukhumvit Soi 2, Klongtoey, Sukhumvit, Bangkok, Thailand
Located on the corner of Soi 4 and Sukhimvit Road, you can literally walk into Nana Plaza from the hotel in just over a minutes walk. Soi Cowboy, the other major Red-Light district of Bangkok is also easily accessible on foot, a 15 minutes stroll away. Last but not least the Nana BTS SkyTrain Station is under 5 minutes way making it easy to get around the city, as well as from/to the airport.

ซอย พร้อมมิตร Khwaeng Khlong Tan, Khet Khlong Toei, กรุงเทพมหานคร 10110, Thailand
The Mixx Discotheque is a very popular Bangkok after hours club located in the basement of the Intercontinental Hotel, one of the most luxurious hotels of the city so you can expect to see many high class Thai and Russian freelancers working the crowds of foreigners. Guests who frequent the club are quite a diverse mix, westerners usually make up the majority at around 60% then 40% Asian (including some Indians and Arabs tourists). About 60% of the ladies are freelancers so if that’s what you are after it shouldn’t be a problem to hookup though expect the prices to be higher than average. Since the Mixx is a bit more upscale than your average disco the the doormen do enforces a stricter dress code which is smart casual, jeans and a shirt are fine just don’t show up in shorts and sandals, they sometimes can provide guests trousers for a small fee nothing is guaranteed especially if the place is already packed. The Nighclub is split in two rooms elegantly decorated with fancy chandeliers, gold statues, red carpets and drapes, the first boudoir-like room plays Hip Hop & Rn’B music, the other darker one focuses House/Trance/EDM. Resident DJ’s Andy (UK) and DJ Eddie Pay […]
973 Phloen Chit Road, Bangkok 10330, Thailand
The NANA Hotel is a Bangkok institution for over 50 years now, opening its doors in 1963 it is an icon of the naughty nightlife and the Mecca for punters from all over the world over. Of course the main attraction here is having Thailand’s main red-light district, the Nana Entertainment Plaza just across the street. his ex 3-story shopping mall is home to over 30 gogo bars employing a total of about 700 available ladies. There are also numerous bars along the street all within walking distance that provide sufficient choice to satisfy the taste of even the most discerning of gentlemen. Now overshadowed by the Mighty Marriott Hotel towering just behind it, no one can argue Nana Hotel has definitely seen better days but location and value is pretty hard to beat at 1500 Baht. You get big comfy Bed, over 20 English speaking channels on the TV, free WiFi, shower has amazing pressure, big fridge with free bottled water, safe that you can fit a laptop in. Nana Hotel also has an excellent swimming pool area that has numerous sunbeds, an outside Jacuzzi and great buffet breakfast with good choice of thai and western foods drinks included in the room rate. Check out time is […]
4 Soi Nana Tai, Sukhumvit Road, Sukhumvit, Bangkok, Thailand 10110
Greeting you when you pass beneath the monstrous ‘Nana Entertainment Plaza’ sign is a mass of flashy neon signs, yelling at you from all directions. Shouting even louder than the neon lights is the intriguing cast of characters upfront, bargirls & ladyboys and who will try and accost you in a lighthearted and nonthreatening fashion to get you to visit their respective gogo bars. Nana Plaza is Bangkok’s most notorious red light districts, this large complex comprising of three floors of go go bars. The bars generally open around 8PM, but there are bars full of more discreet hostesses that are open all hours. In fact, the entire top end of this street, nearest the BTS Nana station, is dominated by bars and girls. On the ground floor are mostly open-air beer bars to choose from. Girls will try to tempt you in for a drink or a game of Jenga but not much really happens here. The shows and the A Go Go Bars with naughty names like Lollipop,Pretty Lady and Red Lips are located on the first floor. Girls here will step into your path and will try to drag you in for a look with a naughty laugh.
4 Sukhumvit Rd, Khlong Toei Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110, Thailand
The Parinda Hotel is hidden down a little alleyway adjacent to Soi 4, so quiet yet only a 5-10 minutes walk from the bars and red light district of Nana plaza. They also offer a free tuk-tuk shuttle to the main road if you don’t feel like walking but I’ve always just picked a little exercise instead. The hotel is was brand new, extremely clean, facilites include a small pool (but very few sunbeds) and a big gym with lots of free weights and exercise machines if that’s your thing. I booked their cheapest rooms: “the Deluxe” which at 35 sq.m were large and with a minimalist yet modern decor, very confy bed, the bathroom has both separate bath and shower. The service was excellent, no complaints here, any request was taking care of with no trouble. Overall a great choice in the Nana area, will repeat! Have a look above for the pictures I have personally took during my stay of the room and hotel amenities.
54 Sukhumvit Soi 4, Klongtoey, Sukhumvit, Bangkok, Thailand
Petals Inn has been freshly remodeled two years, so the rooms are very modern and inviting, it’s a great little hotel located right in the middle of Soi 4, less than 5 minutes walk to Bangkok’s biggest red-light district Nana Entertainment Plaza so there’s lots of excitement in the area. Simply put, if it’s nightlife, girls and bars you’re after, this is the area to stay in
20/7-8 Sukhumvit 4, Sukhumvit Road,, Khlong Toei, 10110 Bangkok, Thailand
The location of the Phachara Suites Sukhumvit is ideal for those who wish to be as close as possible from the Red-Light district without being bothered by it’s noise and craziness. Tucked in a quiet side street, walking 60 meters is all you need to get onto bustling Soi 4 and it’s many, many bars while Nana Entertainment Plaza (NEP) is well under 5 minutes walk away. This a good 4-Star hotel offering all the amenities one could need during your stay, service is also excellent throughout, from the doorman to the security guards, reception and housekeeping.
22 Sukhumvit 6 กรุงเทพมหานคร 10110, Thailand
While the rates booking online are usually great, the Royal Ivory it is an old and tired hotel where one could almost get the feel it was built 30 years ago and never updated since so at this point a complete makeover would be needed.
73 Sukhumvit Soi 4, Sukhumvit Road, Klong Toey, Khlong Toei, 10110 Bangkok, Thailand
The S Sukhumvit Suites is a clean, modern and intimate hotel ideally located just 2 minute walk away around the corner from Soi Cowboy. The S Sukhumvit Suites has recently completed its renovation and I must say the results are excellent. Having tried a few hotels around this area over the years, for the price, service, location and overall quality, it simply doesn’t get any much better than this. The only downside is there are no swimming pool/gym/spa facilities.
403-403/1, 407-407/1 Sukhumvit Road, Klongtoeynuea, Wattana, Wattana, 10110 Bangkok, Thailand
Shock39 Nightclub is definitely not my 1st choice in Bangkok but sometimes when it’s very late at night, all the other bars or clubs have shut down and you still need that “one more drink” it does the job to keep the party going. Expect to meet a mixed crowd of already liquored-up tourists From Nana and Soi 11, expats and average looking freelancers searching to close the deal. Tuk-Tuk and taxis drivers will almost always get you here if you ask them for a disco, sometimes for free since they earn a nice commission for bringing in customers to fill up the place. Decorated is very minimalist with a large dance floor space at it’s center that is lit up catwalk style with lights made of pinkish & blue tones. The DJ play a bit of everything from trance and house music to hip hop. I’ve noticed over the year it’s gotten more and more popular among the Indian and black community.
Soi 39 New Petchaburi Road Bangkok, Thailand 10400
The SM Grande offers large serviced apartments right at the heart of the Red-Light district on Soi 4, only 5 minutes walk from Nana Plaza. Despite the nightlife being so close by, the rooms remain very quiet, you don’t hear a thing with the windows closed so no problems getting a good nights sleep.
33 Sukhumvit Soi 4, Sukhumvit Road, Klongtoey, Khlong Toei, 10110 Bangkok, Thailand
Soi 4 in the Sukhunvit area is definitely one of the best places to find street freelancers in Bangkok, As soon as you enter you will notice girls and ladyboys lining the street, the majority standing on the side of the road that’s opposite to the pubs and bars. You will find the highest concentration of them hanging around outside the Nana hotel parking lot and the entrance of Nana Plaza. Though the quality of the working girls in this particular area are not always high in the looks department compared to those working in the go-go bars you can bet the rates they ask for are usually a lot lower. In the case you are new to the area, a good spot to sit and watch the action go by is from the Stumble Inn bar just opposite from where they hang, you can then grab a beer and wait until you see something of your taste show up, then all you need to do is cross the street to go talk to them or wave one over to talk to negotiate a price. Fun starts usually around 8PM continues late into the night. though a strategic time to pick up some gems […]
4, Nana Tai Alley, Khlong Toei, Bangkok 10110, Thailand
Soi Cowboy is a great place to experience a laid-back and carnavalesque like red light district with flashing neon lights up a colorfully and sexily dressed girls. Located along a short walking street with around you will swiftly be greeted by cries of ‘heeeellooaaaoa, weeeeelcoooome!’ where bargirls will try to lure you into one of the 20 or so A go-go bars that line its sides… don’t be shy, it’s pretty easy going and open-minded, entry is always free and drink prices are fixed. No traps or scams… so just sit and order a drink!
51, 4/51 Soy oil period, Khlong Toei Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110, Thailand
I really loved my stay at the newly opened Continent Bangkok, location is spot on with Soi Cowboy just around the corner only 200 m away, one of the advantages you get from booking at this smaller boutique hotel is the attention you get from the staff as it’s not as packed as most other 5-Stars hotels in the area. The warm and the sincere hospitality definitely makes a difference. One of the great benefits of staying here is their Sky Privilege Package which they will offer you on arrival for an extra 700 THB, with that you get an All You Can Eat And Drink between 5pm and 8pm at their H20 pool bar or sky bar which includes: Beers, wines, cocktails, beers and wine and a wide selection of food that covers everything from mini-burgers, pasta, chicken tenders, sandwiches, fruits & various desserts. Their Sky rooftop bar offer some impressive views over Bangkok, I made it a habit during to start my evenings and after 3 hours of free drinks I was all set to hit Bangkok’s nightlife. Regarding the rooms, the designers have done a great job with the decor, both peaceful and vibrant at the same time. I booked their cheapest room and […]
413 Sukhumvit Road, Sukhumvit, Bangkok, Thailand
The Landmark Bangkok was the most luxurious and highest skyscraper of the Sukhumvit area when it opened a few decades ago, while this premium old-school hotel had lost a bit of her polish over the years management has since done a complete renovation of the rooms, offering some of her grand old charm back. Location is second to none, right next door to Nana plaza you will find a very welcoming oasis in the midst of the hot, crowded and seedy streets of Bangkok. Amenities are plentiful and include a nice pub with live venues, restaurants, bars, a rooftop pool, gym, spa, sauna. The new rooms are fabulous, beds extremely comfortable and the quality of the decor with all the latest furnishings truly in the 5-Star category. Staff are very friendly and extremely competent. All in all, a very happy experience and would recommend. Have a look above for the pictures I have personally took during my stay of the Premiere room and hotel amenities.
138 Sukhumvit Road, Sukhumvit, Bangkok, Thailand
The Thermae Bar & Coffee House, commonly just referred as the Thermae is one of the oldest pickup bars in Bangkok. Originally opened in 1968, it was was made popular by the troops on R&R from Vietnam and has been serving punters ever since. Things have changed a bit and these days the place caters mostly to an Asian clientele from Japan and Korea though you’ll always have some westerners around. The Thermae is a quieter place, there are no live bands or loud music and the drinks are reasonably priced at around 80-100 THB. I suggest to arrive before 10pm though as the bar can fill up quickly and seating become hard to find. All the girl coming in here are freelancers but the atmosphere is very relaxed, you are never pressured by any girls. House rules are they are not allowed to approach the customers on their own, unless you stare straight at them and try to make eye contact so it is more like a lineup in a soapy massage parlor than your average pickup bar. You will see the girls stand around the center bar and in the back like in the picture below waiting for […]

Sweet spot in terms of Pricing, Location and Facilities, rooms are spacious and very clean though the furniture is getting a little dated
133/2 Sukhumvit Soi 21, Bangkok, Thailand
The Ibis Bangkok Sukhumvit 4 is very conveniently located right along Soi 4 (Nana), just on the outside fringe of Bangkok’s most popular redlight district. Besides the odd location and continuous stream of bargirls coming and going with guests everything else is quite in line with the typical Ibis brand standards that we are used to wordwide. Rated as a 3-star hotel this is your basic no frills budget hotel where the facilities are limited to rooms, a bar and restaurant. Standard rooms are quite compact at 20 sq.m and come equipped with a good bed, en suite high pressure shower room, flat-screen TV, small mini-bar, a counter top for your laptop, wardrobe with few shelves, safe and coffee/tea making facilities, wi-fi is also included free of charge. So in the end, love it or hate it this is your typical Ibis chain offering standardized and consistent accommodations and service. Have a look above for the pictures of the room and hotel amenities.
41 Sukhumvit Road Soi 4, Klongtoey, Bangkok, Bangkok, 10110, Thailand
The Inn Residence Bangkok Sukhumvit is tucked up a quiet alleyway 500m from Sukhumvit Road. Location is not spot on but still quite convenient, two of the biggest red light districts of Bangkok: Nana Plaza & Soi Cowboy are within a 15 mins walking distance and just around the corner you’ll find one of the liveliest streets of the Sukhumvit area, Soi 11 offering a multitude of bars, clubs, hostess bars and restaurants. While the Studio class is already quite spacious, I believe the 1-bedroom suites at about double the size of your ordinary Bangkok hotel room are well worth the $10 premium. Rooms are modern and well furnished. Amenities include among other things: A big work desk & comfy couch in the living room, two flat screen TV’s, full kitchen and separate dining table, bedroom with big soft bed, bathroom enclosed shower with an excellent stream of hot water and soaking tub. As most 4 to 5-star hotels the mini-bar prices are quite high, but you are never further than about 100m from a 7/11 in Bangkok so it’s quite easy to avoid this. The Inn Residence Bangkok Sukhumvit have a small swimming pool, Jacuzzi and bar on the 9th floor, […]

Simply put, the JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok is the classiest option you can find just a block away from the red-light district of Nana Plaza. Located on a quiet street just at the back, the JW Marriott towers over Soi Nana and while you can see see the bright neon signs while waiting for an elevator or even from some rooms, it never permeates inside the hotel so you can enjoy the calm atmosphere at the pool, bars and restaurants without even noticing your proximity to that other world. The JW Marriott Bangkok itself is simply fantastic, service is wonderful, staff friendly, food is outstanding. Rooms are very comfortable, decorated in dark tones with rich wood paneling and marble bathrooms. These might feel a little outdated compared to the newer hotels, However the fittings and beds are definitely of Marriott quality and it just works. 4 Sukhumvit Road, Soi 2, Khwaeng Khlong Toei, Khet Khlong Toei, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10110, Thailand
The Mac Boutique Suites Hotel is located on the very quiet soi 7, just 300 meters up from from the Nana BTS station so gaining access to the nightlife or Red light districts of Bangkok from here is a breeze. The Mac Boutique is a cheap no-frills 3-star hotel offering inexpensive studio apartments and one-bedroom suites which can be a bit of a mixed big, mostly good but also a little patchy depending which you are allocated. Facilities are pretty much limited to their bar and restaurant, so if you need a pool, spa or gym you can look somewhere else. Rooms are comfortable and clean, furnished with funky zebra print chairs and sofas, dual flat-screen TVs, fridge and everything one would need but by giving a closer look it’s obvious they could do with some renovations but not bad for the price and location especially if you are traveling to Bangkok on a budget or don’t want to bust your budget on accommodations. 20 Sukhumvit Soi 7, Klongtoey Nue, Bangkok 10110, Thailand
The Movenpick Hotel Sukhumvit 15 Bangkok is conveniently located about midway from Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy, so getting to any of the two best red-light districts of Bangkok on foot should take you no more than 10 to 15 minutes. Alternatively, a free complimentary tuk-tuk service is also available to both Nana & Asoke stations which should cut at least in two the travel distance. Squeezed in between high-rises, the Movenpick Hotel is of small size compared to many neighboring big-brand hotels but it’s building and public areas are stunning, the service is very welcoming and personnel, you can feel Swiss quality and Thai hospitality are all about the hotel. The Movenpick is split into two low rise buildings, which are interconnected at the roof, the rooftop pool and lounge area was nice and relaxing. Bar on the same levels offers a good selection of drinks with a daily 2 for 1 Happy hour at 6PM on cocktails. Rooms are modern and well designed rooms, not excessively large at 30 sq.m but equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay: Good King size bed, desk, LED-TV with about 30 channels, high speed internet and a spacious bathroom. Very high […]
47 Sukhumvit Soi 15 Klongtoey, Bangkok 10110, Thailand
Conveniently located right on Soi 4, the Omni Tower Sukhumvit is right at the heart of Bangkok’s redlight district. While this place has been a popular choice over the last two decades for budget minded travelers looking to rent cheap serviced apartments only minutes from Nana Plaza, there’s been in the last few years a slow but steady decline in the state of the property. One problem seems to be that the condo units are now managed by so many different companies and owners that it’s become a hit and miss type of situation, while some are fine, other are truly dumps. So one’s individual experience here can be completely different. All I can recommend is if you ever do book here try to ask at the reception when checking in one of the units with wood floors and not carpeting, they seem to be the ones in best condition. Keep in mind that overall that the Studio and One-Bedroom Suite are worn and poorly maintained. Have a look above for the pictures of the room and hotel amenities.

The rooms or suites are tastefully furnished with ample space in the living room and bedroom. Hotel facilities include a hot tub, fitness center & outdoor pool. The S15 is a small luxury boutique property centrally located on Sukhumvit road just a stone’s throw away from Thermae Bar, one of the oldest freelancer pickup hotspot in Bangkok. If you are looking for quality serviced apartments right at the door steps of Bangkok’s biggest adult entertainment district, look no further than the Shama Sukhumvit. You will find dozens of bars, clubs, massage parlors and the strip clubs of Nana Plaza within 100 meters of the hotel. Shama’s furnished apartments are not the cheapest if compared to the ones on offer at the Omni tower further down the road but are in a totally different class. Rooms here are beautiful, look brand new and have good quality furniture, housekeeping makes sure that it stays clean throughout your whole stay. Hotel amenities include a infinity pool with great view of over the Sukhumvit area and a gym. The size of the apartments, starting at 66 sq.m is more than adequate and about double the size of your average Bangkok hotel room. Recipient of TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence.
39/1 Sukhumvit Soi2, Klongtoey, Sukhumvit, Bangkok, Thailand
The SilQ Bangkok is a small boutique hotel tucked in a quiet location only 10 minutes walk from Soi Cowboy, commuting anywhere in Bangkok from here is a breeze since the Asoke BTS and Sukhumvit MRT are only 150 meters away. The hotel is relatively new and it’s decor is smart and modern, you can see lots of thought have gone into the details. Rooms are big and spotless with wooden flooring, furniture is of good standards, bed has a comfortable medium soft mattress, wall-mounted flat screen TV, air-con and WiFi both worked flawlessly, lovely bathroom design with large walk in shower, lots of free toiletries. The SilQ is actually excellent for the price, but only if you don’t require a pool or fitness room. Amenities are limited to just a restaurant and bar in front of the reception which does serve some fantastic cocktails. Have a look above for the pictures of the room and hotel amenities.

89 Sukhumvit Soi 2, Sukhumvit, Bangkok, Thailand,
The Woraburi Sukhumvit is a budget hotel located in a quiet area near the bottom of one of the most vibrant streets for adult entertainment in Sukhumvit (Soi 4), Nana Plaza, Bangkok’s biggest Red-Light district complex is actually an easy walk from here and should take you no more than 10-15 minutes, alternatively if you don’t feel like walking a free TukTuk ride leaves the property and takes you there every 30 mins. FACTS: The Woraburi is certainly not the best hotel you can find in Sukhumvit, but it’s cheap and the rooms are adequate, yes they’ve certainly seen better days but everything still worked (TV, Fridge, AC), bed is comfortable enough, bathroom is outdated and shower water pressure was the one point really lacking, seemed has only to modes low and very low. Hotel has a small rooftop swimming pool with a bar and sunbeds. Staff can be hit and miss. Overall an average place at a good price. If you are expecting a 5-star hotel then you surely are going to be sorely disappointing TIP: Stay away from the standard rooms. Have a look above for the pictures of the room and hotel amenities.
